5th Annual Back to School and Day of Dignity was held on September 10th in partnership with Islamic Relief USAComptroller Brad LanderShorefront Toys for TotsRethink FoodBrooklyn Chamber of CommerceNYPD 60th Precinct and Brooklyn Borough President.1000 school bags1000 school kits for elementary, middle and high school students 600+ toys600 cooked halal meals500 hygiene KitsHundreds of PPEs, COVID-19 home testing kits, masks, sanitizersHundreds of Water, juice, cookies, chips and Ice CreamAnd a lot of informative literature was distributed by all partners. Collectively and in collaboration of our city agencies, community organizations and leaders we can combat food insecurity, poverty and hate.
