Domestic abuse and gender-based violence

APNA is proud to partner with The Mayor’s Office to End Domestic and Gender-Based Violence to conduct a workshop aimed at raising awareness about domestic abuse and gender-based violence. Domestic abuse is a serious issue that affects individuals and families from all walks of life. This workshop seeks to educate individuals on the signs and effects of domestic abuse and how to support victims and survivors. We believe that education is a powerful tool in the fight against domestic abuse, and by providing individuals with the knowledge and resources they need, we can help create safer and more supportive communities.
During this workshop, participants will learn about the resources available for victims and survivors of domestic abuse, including crisis hotlines, shelters, and legal support services. They will also gain an understanding of the impact of domestic abuse on individuals, families, and communities. Through interactive discussions and presentations, participants will have the opportunity to share their experiences and gain a deeper understanding of this critical issue. We believe that by working together, we can create a safer and more supportive environment for all individuals, and we are committed to continuing our efforts to end domestic abuse and gender-based violence.
